Terms of service
Effective May 5, 2026.
1. Purpose
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern relations between Main.llc, editor of the website certifeurope.com (hereinafter "Certif Europe") and any person (hereinafter "the Customer") subscribing to a service for obtaining and using a qualified electronic signature certificate for filings on the INPI single-window or any equivalent administration.
2. Editor identification

3. Service description
The service consists of:
- Provision of an online interface to upload a document for signing;
- Customer identity verification in compliance with eIDAS requirements;
- Transmission of the order to a partner Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP), listed on the EU Trusted List, which issues the certificate;
- Delivery to the Customer of the signed document and its enforceable signature record.
Certif Europe is not itself a QTSP. It acts as a commercial intermediary.
4. Pricing & payment
The price for a one-off signature is €30 net (i.e. €36 incl. VAT, French VAT 20% applicable). Payment is due at order, by credit/debit card or electronic wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay) via the secure Stripe platform.
5. Certificate issuance — timing
The certificate is issued within an indicative timeframe of less than 10 minutes from validation of the Customer's identity, subject to proper functioning of the partner QTSP platforms and availability of Customer ID documents.
6. Identity verification
The Customer commits to providing accurate information and a valid ID document: national ID card or passport issued by an EU member state, or valid French residence permit. Verification is performed automatically by the partner QTSP in compliance with eIDAS requirements and Article R123-5 of the French Commercial Code.
7. "Money-back if INPI rejects" guarantee
Certif Europe commits to fully refunding the Customer if the INPI single-window rejects their filing due to a defect attributable to the electronic signature provided. The refund request must be sent to support@certifeurope.com within 30 days of rejection, accompanied by the INPI rejection notice. The refund is processed within 14 days on the original payment method.
8. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer Customer has 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal. However, in accordance with Article L. 221-28 13° of the same Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content delivered on intangible support whose execution has begun with the Customer's express prior consent. The Customer expressly waives the right of withdrawal from the moment certificate issuance starts, except for the "money-back if INPI rejects" guarantee under Article 7.
9. Liability
Certif Europe implements the necessary means for proper service execution but is bound only by an obligation of means. Its liability cannot be engaged for: (a) INPI filing rejection for reasons unrelated to the electronic signature (file format, document completeness, act compliance); (b) temporary unavailability of partner QTSP services or the Single-window platform; (c) certificate use not compliant with these Terms.
10. Personal data
Customer personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the privacy policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
11. Disputes & applicable law
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, after attempting amicable resolution, competent courts are: for professional Customers, the competent French courts; for consumer Customers, courts of their place of residence in the EU, in accordance with Brussels I bis Regulation.
